Setting Up Your Teltonika Router for Failover

This guide walks through enabling automatic failover so your site stays online if the primary connection drops.

Before you start

• A Teltonika RUT-series router
• An active Anvil IoT SIM installed
• Admin access to the router dashboard

Steps

• Open Network → Failover in the router dashboard
• Add your wired WAN as the primary interface
• Add the mobile interface as the backup
• Set the health-check host and save

Once saved, pull your main cable to test — traffic should switch to mobile within seconds and back again when the line returns.
